Jump Forward, Back and Glide Through
In this workshop we will break down the various stages of jump forward, back
and through. We will demystify the technique of those “seemingly unachievable”
transitional movements to make them accessible to all.
We will learn to find the correct alignment, coordinate core and upper arm
strength, shift the weight into the hands, and use the breath and bandhas to
assist you in the lift off. Understanding the mechanics of flight, patience, faith and
constant practice are the key to success.
Hippy Hips & Flexi Hamstrings
Many of us hold a great deal of tension, emotions, and stress in the hips.
This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to increase their flexibility
through the hips and hamstrings. It will include a deeper exploration into “peak” poses such as Head to Ankle, Hanumanasa (Splits), Eka Pada and Dwi Pada Sirsasana (One or Two
leg behind the head). We will conclude with a guided deep relaxation to get rid
of any tension left in the body and make you feel rested and re-energised.

Rock your Balance
Spend an afternoon replacing your feet with your hands, and learn the essentials
to help you soar in arm balancing such as crane, crow, one legged crow, side
crow, flying pigeon, dragonfly, firefly, forearm stands and many of their
variations. For those practitioners who are more advanced, we will introduce a variety of fun and challenging ways to transition to the next level.
This is all about learning how to play with your body and enjoy the process of
reaching new heights!

Step by Step Hollow Back
In this workshop we will break down one of the most iconic poses of the Dharma
Mittra lineage, the hollow back. We will work on correct hand placement,
body positioning and a wide range of drills designed to help you progress with
flexibility, strength, stability, muscle endurance, and balance.
At the end of the workshop you will have all the tools to become a hollow back
Ambra Vallo is a former Principal ballerina with the Birmingham Royal Ballet. She turned to yoga on a path to recovery from injuries and over the years she fell in love with the more spiritual parts of the practice.
Retiring from dance allowed her to focus on her passion and to undertake further training in Ashtanga Vinyasa (200hrs, 500hrs & 50hrs), Dharma Yoga (500hrs & 800hrs), Rocket Yoga (500hrs), Forrest Yoga (200hrs and Advance TT), Tripsichore (200hrs), and Gokul Vinyasa Yoga (300hrs). Ambra’s teaching is fun and spontaneous following the lineage of Larry Shultz, Ana Forrest, and Sri Dharma Mittra. She has been teaching regularly in teacher training courses, has worked with performers and athletes helping to rethink their traditional training regimes.
