Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga 200 ore
Alida and Elena, Italian international yoga teachers, have developed an excellent 200-hour course from their extensive experience and passion for yoga.
The format of the course is ibrid according to the most recent Yoga Alliance standard. Therefore, the first 50 hours will be online ( one week), and the remaining 150 hours will be intensive in-person training (two weeks).
The places for this course are limited as we choose to welcome only a small group of yogi. We will establish direct contact with each student and provide all necessary care and attention for each one of them. We will create a safe space for learning precious knowledge and introspection and personal growth. This course will be a lifelong learning experience and a journey toward self-transformation.
The course aims to provide a solid foundation in Hatha Vinyasa Yoga and a clear understanding of a genuine Vinyasa practice. The students will study and practice the following subjects during the entire course:• alignment and adjustments of all the significant asanas of Hatha Yoga• art of sequencing and instructing a 90 minutes flow of both a Hatha and a Vinyasa class• pranayama, mantra, and meditation• yoga philosophy based on Patanjali Yoga Sutra• anatomy and physiology for yoga teachers• introduction to Yin yoga• bandhas and mudra• yoga methodology and art of teaching• ethics of a yoga teacher• yoga business
We choose a dream location for this course, ideal for those yogis looking for relaxation, silence, and introspection. The course will take place at agriturismo Case Don Ignazio- Zen Sicily.Case Don Ignazio is a beautiful typical Sicilian house of the 19th century, entirely renovated and warmly decorated. The ten hectares of land include the old farmhouse surrounded by a vast meadow, plus several plantations like an olive grove, carobs trees, an orchard, the aroma park, the organic vegetable garden, and a small mill. The house is on a hill to enjoy a beautiful view of the Noto Valley (perfect at sunset) and the Ionian sea (perfect at sunrise).
Combining these elements creates beautiful energy and a magic atmosphere that will conquer and nourish you from the first step in.
Most of the classes will be at the outdoor shala.
The shala is a wood construction located in the middle of the flowery meadow further away from the housing area, allowing total immersion in nature while enjoying the practice. Case Don Ignazio sustains the organic and eco-compatible cultures. Therefore, organic products are at the base of all meals, inspired by ancient recipes of the Sicilian tradition. The ingredients used in the kitchen are self-produced, absolutely healthy, and pesticides free. Finally, the area is one of the richest in Sicily in terms of nature, art, and architecture. During your stay, you can discover the beauty of the Vendicari Natural Reserve, the coastline with old fisherman villages, white sand beaches, the greek theatre of Syracuse, and charming towns already declared Unesco inheritance (Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, Modica, Ortigia, Noto).
